Romantic Rustic Italian Continues through 2/25
Now through February 25th, we’ll be serving up amazing Italian dishes such as the returning favorite Pappardelle with lemon, artichoke, parmesan, garlic & olive oil; or the lighter Grilled Tuna with fresh fennel, red onion, and orange (pictured here with the asparagus & artichoke concassé).
Did we mention the wines? (Oh! The wines!) We have selected some new and interesting wines…but had to keep the Tutela Amarone. If you haven’t tasted it, we highly recommend it! Check out our featured wine selection below, available by the glass, bottle, or as part of our Italian Wine Flight:
Boron Prosecco, Veneto $8/$36
Crisp, pleasant, fruity aromas with nuances of green apple and a hint of yeast. Elegantly full-bodied, with characteristic fruitiness. Velvety and well-balanced with soft bubbles rather than a tight fizz.
Azzolino D’Incanto Grillo, Sicily $8.25/$39
Very subtle white wine. Gentle herbal and mineral fragrances with notes of green melon and cut grass. Mineral and fresh palate. The Grillo grape, once used almost exclusively in Marsala production and then nearly abandoned, now holds its own as a varietal.
Fratelli Ponte Barbera d’Asti Superiore, Piedmont $9.50/$48
Aromas open up to reveal notes of baking spice and dried violet. Mature black plum and ripe blackberry flavors underscored of tobacco notes end in soft tannins that offer easygoing structure.
Tutela Amarone della Valpolicella, Veneto $14.25/$69
Intensely flavored, delicate bouquet, and a dry warm taste. Velvety mouthfeel with hints of bitter almond. Made from hand-harvested, sun-dried grapes, this is one of Veneto’s most prestigious wines.
Even in its first week, we’ve seen so many of you come in just to enjoy this all-time favorite menu again. We look forward to seeing even more of you this month!
