Viva South America! Menu Highlights
The bold, bright colors and flavors of Harrison’s Viva South America! features are sure to warm you up in these last days of winter!
We have been getting raves on the Peruvian Snapper entrée, the Shrimp & Snapper Ceviche and our Aji de Gallina soup. But we’re particularly excited about two new items on this year’s menu: the Coxinha (pictured above) and Dulce de Leche-filled Churros, both produced by locally-owned Brazilian Munchies. The Coxinha, tear-drop shaped “chicken bites,” are delightful, and the Churros are absolutely melt in your mouth.
Brazilian Munchies, a local business run by Flavia & Nicholas Barger and Yamá Castilho, makes and sells authentic (and delicious) Brazilian snacks. Flavia and Yamá, both native Brazilians, and Nicholas (Flavia’s husband) have transformed their knowledge of Brazilian food into a thriving business in State College. Read the recent CDT article about them! If you don’t get a chance to try their products this month at Harrison’s, you’re in luck! Their products are also available at various farmers markets and Nature’s Pantry.
The last day for this menu will be Wednesday, March 28. Our South American features are available in addition to our full dinner menu after 4:30pm daily. We hope you’ll join us this month to find your own favorite!
Save the Date! French Features Begin 3/29, 5pm
Spring is almost here, and with it comes Harrison’s Paris in the Springtime feature menu. You’ll be able to enjoy delectable French cuisine and wines beginning at 5pm on Thursday, March 29.
Don’t miss returning favorites such as the Coquilles St. Jacques, Le Poisson en Papillote, or the red wine Poached Pear with dark chocolate. Final changes to the menu are still being made, but you can view last year’s menu below!
Dine with Harrison's this Easter
We will open at noon on Easter Sunday and will be offering our full dinner menu as well as our Paris in the Springtime feature menu all day (the Lunch menu, including Fresh Bar, will not be offered this day).
Easter is a busy day for us, so we urge you to make a reservation if you would like to celebrate this holiday with us. We look forward to hearing from you!
