The free South American wine tasting was received with such great interest that we'd like to give even more of you a chance to partake. We have asked our South American wine purveyor, Pedro's, to return for two additional tastings this month. Stop by on either of the below dates for a tasting in the lobby area just outside the dining room entrance. We recommend reserving your table for 30 minutes after your tasting in case we have many eager tasters!

South America may currently be best known for their Malbecs. In the hands of South American vintners, the once unknown and unfashionable Malbec (used as a minor blending grape in some regions of France) has been recognized as capable of creating beautiful, rich wines.
Chile and Argentina in particular produce some wonderful wines, and not just Malbecs. They have some of the most ideal grape-growing conditions in the world. Snowmelt from the mountains provides all the water the grapes need, warm and sunny days allow grapes to ripen easily and ward off threatening fungi, and cool nights help grapes retain their acidity as they ripen, helping create well-balanced wines.
This month, in addition to two Malbecs, we're also featuring Argentinian Torrontes and Tempranillo, and a Chilean Chardonnay. Sample them at the free tastings, or enjoy them in the dining room by the glass, by the bottle, or in a flight! Viva Vino!
