Vino Veneto! Italian Wines for Summer
No Italian meal would be complete without a little vino, and we have gathered some Italian wines to perfectly complement this month's food features. While our food features are inspired by the beautiful, southern isle of Capri, our wine features hail from Veneto, a more northerly region in Italy and one of the most productive wine-making regions in the country.
Protected by the Alps from the harshly cold climates of Northern Europe, the northern foothills of Veneto provide the perfect cooler climates for growing this region's white grape varieties, while the warmer Adriatic coastal plains and river valleys are ideal for growing red varieties. Our selection takes you on a tour of this region and highlights its diverse and delicious offerings. Although worthy of drinking in their own right, we have selected these wines specifically to complement the flavors of our Italian Summer menu. Try a glass, a bottle, or have all four paired with your courses in our tasting menus for the full experience.
