There doesn't need to be a special occasion to dine at Harrison's but we enjoy planning special menus for some of life's extra special celebrations and favorite holidays.

Seasonal Football Fare
Chef Harrison is a big football fan and has always wanted to offer some foods that fit with the Penn State football season. Our casual Seasonal Football Fare are sports-minded favorites that we served alongside our 2009 Fall Menu – it's sports foods but BETTER! Prime Rib-Eye Steak Sandwich and a variety of Buffalo Chicken offerings were fan favorites. View last season's menu here until the 2010 game plan is drawn up! Harrison's is the perfect tailgate spot before or after the game. We feature Game Day drink specials in the bar and welcome large groups for lunch and dinner.

Thanksgiving
Take Home Ready & Delicious! Whether you are hosting your first Thanksgiving or your thirty-first, let's face it, this is the big meal of the year. This American tradition can feel overwhelming but it doesn't have to… with a little (or a lot) of help from Harrison's! We have meals for as few as two ready for pick up at the restaurant at your scheduled time. If trimmings are all you need, pick and choose the favorite sides of your choice or if the "main attraction" is all you need, we can help with a whole roasted turkey or sliced, seasoned turkey breast.

New Year's Eve
If you prefer to forego the "noise makers" at dinner on New Year's Eve, then Harrison's is the perfect place to celebrate with a low-key but high-taste evening. Every New Year's Eve, Chef Harrison carefully plans a delicious menu that includes New Year's Eve Features. Resolve to check back the week prior to New Year's Eve 2010 for the full list of specials!
Valentine's Day
We are all about "Undivided Attention" at Harrison's on Valentine's Day! Our undivided attention is on fresh ingredients, great taste and superb service, so that your's can be on your Valentine. We offer two ways to Eat Well, Drink Well this romantic holiday:

A Taste of New Orleans
Celebrate Mardi Gras and the unique french, creole and cajun flavors of the 'Big Easy". Special menu begins on Fat Tuesday, the last day of Mardi Gras, and continues for a couple weeks. Check back in 2011!

Spring Break Stay-cation Menu
A "stay-cation", according to Webster's Dictionary, is a time when people stay at home and relax or take day trips from their home to the best area attractions. To put you in that Spring Break vacation frame of mind we are preparing fresh seafood specials, tropical drinks and subtropical desserts that will be available during and around Spring Break in 2011. Check back for special features!
Mother's Day
Celebrate the Mom in your life by spoiling her with the best local food and drink in State College. Our special Mother's Day features will include delicious produce at the start of prime growing season in Happy Valley (often fresh asparagus, baby spinach, baby beets, and the first spring greens from Tait Farm) and plentiful seafood choices from the Atlantic sea shore. We will create these features much closer Mother's Day, as we learn what seasonal offerings will be available. The full lunch and dinner menu will be available from noon until 9pm. Reservations fill up quickly for this day so please reserve early.
Penn State Graduation
Each year, Harrison's offers a Penn State Graduation Prix Fixe Menu for the Penn State's spring graduation weekend. We make your special achievement a distinctive celebration with a menu that includes our fresh salad bar, hors d'oeuvres, fresh bread, delicious top-notch entreés and assorted desserts. Full bar service, including bubbly is available!
